I possess strong expertise in claims processing for Medicare, commercial, and private payers, and a comprehensive understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems. My skill set includes insurance verification, claim submission, follow-up on unpaid claims, denial management, and appeals processing to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. Additionally, I am experienced in patient billing and reducing past-due accounts through efficient communication and problem-solving. I maintain full HIPAA compliance and have hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Kareo (Tebra) and Practice Fusion.

With over 10 years of experience as a Medical Assistant and Referral Coordinator, and 2 years in the Medical Billing and Coding industry, I decided to embark on a new professional journey inspired by my passion for helping healthcare providers optimize their revenue management. Together with Norma, we founded Medical Billing & Coding Experts in late 2025, driven by a shared commitment to simplify and enhance the medical billing process. I am a Nationally Certified Insurance & Coding Specialist (NCICS), credentialed by the NNCT. My goal is to ensure providers receive timely and accurate payments while maintaining full compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry coding standards such as CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS. As a bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, I take pride in fostering clear communication with both patients and providers. I’m passionate about simplifying the billing process, resolving claim challenges, and helping practices maintain healthy revenue cycles with professionalism and care.
